A fresh tasting minty yoghurt dip – the perfect accompaniment to onion bhajis, Tandoori chicken, Lamb Sheesh kebabs, basically any starter. The mint is cooling, the yoghurt is cooling and it’s a great palate cleanser. You will most probably have eaten  it with popadoms in an  Indian restaurant.  It’s so easy and so simple that once you have made it, you will make it time and time again.

 

Preparation time: 2 minutes                                                     Serves approx 6 to 8 people

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 tbsp of Natural Yoghurt
  • 1 level tsp mint sauce
  • ½ tsp of Salt

 

METHOD

  1. Using a small bowl, add the yoghurt, salt and mint.
  2. Mix till smooth, (the consistency should be like double cream. If you like it a little thinner, just add a splash of milk and stir.
  3. Eat as required or store the rest in an airtight container
