Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants are some of the most important awards in the region. This 2019 was the fifth edition of the event, held for the first time in Bogota, Colombia.

“50 Best” is a list of restaurants designed by the British magazine “Restaurant”, chosen by the vote of a jury composed of specialists in the field, such as chefs, gastronomic journalists and gourmets.

To include a restaurant in the list, there are no specific requirements. There is no need to be a big project; it can be a small and unknown restaurant. In the end, everything depends on the evaluation of the panel of experts, who consider the customer experience, the quality of the food, and the level of the prices, as a whole.

Next, let’s take a look at how the best dishes of the top ten of the “Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018” are, and so, we get the idea.
