You are a well experiences Executive Pastry Chef from Turkmenistan. Back to the beginning of your pastry chef career; why did you become a pastry chef?

I started my career in pastry and Bakery 15 years ago. I started from commis and now I’m already executive pastry chef. I love my job. My nationality Russian but I’m Citizen of Turkmenistan. My home in Ashgabat Capital of Turkmenistan. Very nice city with white buildings.



From a culinary point of view, how could you describe Turkmenistan best?

My most experience that is French pastry and Bakery. French pastry and Bakery very popular in Turkmenistan, Because here many guests from Europe. About Turkmen pastry: Turkmen pastries I don’t make Because I working in worldwide brands of hotels like Sheraton, Sofitel, Pullman and others. Turkmenistan don’t have nationally desserts.


Any place in the world you would be interested to work as pastry chef one day?

I worked in China, UAE, Vietnam and Russia before. Let’s see where it takes me in the future.
